An assortment of logos I've designed over the years.
Cagle Heating & Cooling: When designing this logo, I wanted to keep it simple with a clear concept, conveying that this one-man operation is capable and professional. Modern logos from the 50s and 60s were heavy influences in this design.
Arab High School Marching Knights: When my former high school band director moved schools, he asked me to design a new logo for their marching band. Early on, the "G" was initially only a shield. As the design evolved, it also became the point of the sword adding multiple layers of knight iconography
Griffin Studios: Griffin Studios is a small, local recording studio. Since the owner shared the name of my favorite mythical creature, I wanted to include it in some way. The Guitar pick shape highlights the griffin made from the "Gr" and the "wing" has six feathers like the six strings on a guitar.
FBC Youth: When designing this logo for a local church's youth group, I started by creating a logo for the church and adding "youth" to it. I implemented a "1" into the "F" to emphasize the "First Baptist." Surprisingly, in my research, I couldn't find a first baptist church logo that had done this before.
Juzco (CONCEPT): On a trip to the art museum, the South American art exhibit inspired me to study South American art and how it can inspire design. The result was a juice company called Juzco. The type is solid yet rounded, inspired by the stonework of Incan statues and temples. Even the mascot plays off of classic Incan statues merged with an orange slice.
